    Description

    Two Signed 1969 Vintage CRESCENT SILVER MFG Silver plate Metal Wine Goblets. Crescent was founded 1n 1922 in Port Jervis NY and sold to Samuel Kirk & Son Inc. in 1977 These were a 1970 wedding gift and have never been used. Mint condition with no scratches, dings, anything. Beautiful both inside and out. On the bottom there is the Crescent Silver Mfg name and logo. Above the logo there is what seems to be a hand entered name / initial in script and date. I read it as "h o (a?) n (r?) 3/69". You might make something else of it ... possibly starting with a capital T rather than a lower case h. Also, the bases appear to be slightly different in thickness which is revealed when photographing them. More of the inner material (coming out as a brassy color in the thicker one) is visible. There are two pictures of the base which I think is larger. The overall height is the same : 5 9/16", the open diameter is 3" and the base is 2 5/16" Each weighs just about 4 oz.Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
