Description

This is a fuel petcock rebuild kit for many Suzuki motorcycles. Don't waste your money on a crappy aftermarket replacement petcock that will be leaking in a year. You can replace the seals in your OEM petcock and have it perform like new again. This is a seal replacement kit for your OEM petcock.
It will include:
Mounting base gasket to your tank
Internal bowl gasket
Packing(4 hole) gasket
This kit is for the gaskets only. Petcock parts are shown for reference purposes and not included.  Please check the application list for your model and year before buying.  You may need to view this listing on a computer browser rather than your phone if you cannot see the list.
Base gasket goes between the petcock base and the tank. After years, this gasket becomes flat and no longer provides a adequate seal, so when you remove your petcock, you should replace this gasket. This seal is round, but it forms into the groove of your petcock base.
Bowl gasket goes between the screen and the bowl. The key to a successful installation on this gasket is not to over tighten. No more than 1/2 turn after firm contact is all you need.
Packing gasket goes behind the lever.
All gaskets should be lubricated before installation.
