From an estate, an original Jane Tamako Raffeld Batik on Cloth titled MORNING RITUALS. Copyright 1983. Whimsical framed Fine Art depicts a woman in the bathroom getting dressed in the morning with the help of her pet cats. Cat owners can relate.
Framed size is about 25 1/4" x 28 1/4". The batik itself is about 19 1/2" x 21 1/4" and is mounted on a cardboard backing and professionally framed using uv resistant glass.
Jane Tamako was a well known Austin Texas artist who was tragically killed in an auto accident in 1984.
The piece is signed on the batik and also signed and titled in pencil on the backing as shown in photos. I know that there were limited edition numbered prints of this original artwork.
