Description:
Petcock is surface oxidation treated for weathering. Fuel Filter & Gasket Included.
This is a fuel shutoff petcock for use with generators, air compressors, water pumps, pressure washers, and other types of small equipment.
Thread size is determined by measuring the OD (outside diameter) or "male" thread.
The thread pitch is the # of threads per millimeter and must be measured with a thread pitch gauge.
There are only three thread sizes (that I'm aware of) used on Chinese brand petcocks.
16 x 1.5mm, 14 x 1.0mm & 10 x 1.25mm "male threads". 16 x 1.5mm has an ID of 14.5mm and 14 x 1.0mm has an ID of 13mm.
You may notice if you subtract the pitch from the OD you will get the ID. This is not actually the correct way to do this but it does work.

Special Note:
1) A sediment bowl is used to clean fuel and deposit impurities.
An economic petcock valve without sediment bowl is easy to get clogging problem.
So, a petcock valve with sediment bowl performs much better than an economic one.
2) The direction of fuel feeding outlet of our petcock may be different from yours.
The layout difference of fuel outlet shall not affect petcock performance and causes fitting problem.
