Firebird Quilt. This dimensional art piece is 48” x 39”. It is stretched over a dried cedar frame. Fabric flames are fused and inked to deep blue background. The Firebird’s eye is dimensional glass. The blue background is heavily quilted and adds depth and added interest. This is an arresting illustration of the Phoenix rising from the ashes of myth.
